Miniature Horse Ranch

We live in Rosemount, Minnesota, USA and raise our miniature horses here. We are happy that you have come to visit and we hope that your visit will be delightful and rewarding. Our ranch is located near the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St Paul in Minnesota. We purchased our first two miniature horses (one stallion and one mare) in 1985. The stallion was a yearling and the mare was a 2 year old. The stallion soon grew to 35.5 inches and we sold him. Miniature horses are supposed to be 34 inches or less as measured at the withers (the last hairs of the mane). Just before Christmas that year, we purchased a nice 33" pregnant mare whose name was Tiny Girl. She came as a surprise to our 4 year old daughter, Casey, when she found her tied up in our driveway with a large red bow attached to her neck on Christmas morning. Tiny Girl produced our first foal, a filly, in the spring of 1986 and what a joy it was to watch her being born and growing up. She was named Sieverts Miss Muffett Tuffett. We still have her, she is a beautiful 32.5 inch palomino now and she has produced many outstanding foals, of which about 70% were fillies. We have 5 generations of horses from this bloodline. Cynthia and I have been in the business since 1985. AMHA involvement has been part of our lives, starting with attendance at the annual meeting in 1986. I have attended every annual meeting and Cynthia has joined in for most. I became the regional 7 director for 6 years, was elected director-at-large one year, and was Vice President of the Association in 1999. I have been chairman or co-chair of the rules & regulations committee for several years and have served on that committee even longer. Cynthia has been quite involved in the Amateur committee as a member and as a co-chair. We love our Miniature Horses and are
very proud of our herd. They are part of our family. About Our Sale
